PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an electric gas compressor in which a vane can be stably projected even when driving the compressor at low speed operation. SOLUTION: When a motor controller 104 is indicated to drive a motor 10 at low speed revolution, the motor controller 104 starts the motor 10 at a revolution speed, which is a little higher than the held revolution speed, to decelerate the motor 10 down to the indicated revolution speed when the motor comes into the normal state. The motor 10 is made to start at a little higher revolution speed so that the vane of the rotary gas compressor connected to the motor 10 can be projected out of a rotor, and oil pressure which is sufficient to push the vane is generated so as to permit the stable projection of the vane.
