PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a worker to easily and safely ascend to/descend from a house of an upper structure in the maintenance of a construction machine. SOLUTION: In the construction machine, the upper structure 12 is revolvably arranged on an undercarriage 11; an engine, hydraulic equipment and the like, which are mounted on the upper structure, are covered with the house 14; and an opening 17 of the house 14 is provided with an openable/closable cover 15.
