PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent strength, knot strength, moderate rigidity, low water absorption, low heat shrinkage percentage and excellent wet heat durability. SOLUTION: A core-sheath conjugated polyamide monofilament is composed of a core component and a sheath component. The core component is composed of a semiaromatic polyamide composed of an aliphatic diamine unit and an aromatic dicarboxylic acid unit consisting mainly of terephthalic acid. The sheath component contains any one of an aliphatic polyamide, a low-crystalline semiaromatic polyamide composed of an aliphatic diamine unit and≥two kinds of aromatic dicarboxylic acid units in which the aromatic dicarboxylic acid other than the terephthalic acid is≥10% or a blended material or a copolymer of the aliphatic polyamide and the low-crystalline semiaromatic polyamide.
