PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive resin composition which is excellent in flame retardance and adhesion and capable of making an adhesive layer thinner without using a solvent-insoluble flame retardant. SOLUTION: The adhesive resin composition contains (1) 100 pts.wt. brominated and non-brominated epoxy resins in the aggregate, (2) 25-92 pts.wt. carboxylated elastomer, (3) 4-30 pts.wt. phenolic compound and (4) 0.7-4 pts.wt. imidazole compound.
