PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the maintenance performance of a resin-coating apparatus for a wire body, especially, an optical fiber; and to improve the quality of a product. SOLUTION: In a line apparatus for subjecting the wire body 1 such as the optical fiber to resin coating, ultraviolet transmitting photocatalyst coatings c each having a thickness of 0.01-0.5μm are applied on the surfaces at the sides, with which sides a resin being used, including generating vapor, is brought into contact, of the whole line element devices of a resin-coating die device 2, an UV lamp device 3, an exhaust device 4, a heating device, a cooling device, a direction-exchange pulley 5 and the like, and preferably, in addition to the surfaces, on the surfaces at the opposite sides of the sides.
