PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively constitute a storage shelf device and to realize high space efficiency by miniaturizing the device with respect to the storage number. SOLUTION: The storage shelf device comprises a plurality of stages, for example four stages, of first shelf plate members 21 that are disposed in a storage passage 20 of a storage container 1 and have a storage section 21a for storing the storing vessel 1 and a passing section 21b for passing through the storage container 1. The storage shelf device comprises a first shelf plate driving mechanism 23 capable of positioning the storage section 21a and the passing section 21b on the storage passage 20 by rotating the first shelf plate members 21. The storage shelf device comprises a storage shelf controller 25 for controlling the first shelf plate driving mechanism 23 so as to position, on the storage passage 20, the passing section 21b of the first shelf plate member 21 disposed on the upstream side of the storage passage 20 than a predetermined stage when the storage section 21a of the first shelf plate member 21 at a predetermined stage is positioned onto the storage passage 20.
