PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning structure of a corrugated cardboard cushioning material which is for use in packaging of products and formed of a single corrugated cardboard sheet, the cushioning structure solving the problems of a conventional cushioning structure, i.e. complicated folding and assembly of a cushioning material and its poor cushioning performance, and achieving simple assembly and excellent cushioning effect. SOLUTION: The corrugated cardboard cushioning material is formed by marking projective ruled lines and recessed ruled lines for defining a product holding section 2, on the corrugated cardboard sheet at joint sections in surfaces forming four vertical erect surfaces of the product holding section 2, and folding the recessed ruled lines at 45 degrees. The corrugated cardboard cushioning material has outer sections 3 fitting to an inner dimension of a facing box, at locations outside the product holding section 2 for fixing the product, and each contact section of the cushioning section 4 serially connected to the product holding section 2 and the outer sections 3, to an inner side of the facing box has an inclined notch 5.
