PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus 1 for a vehicle, which display apparatus 1 furthermore improves its visibility by changing color tone, etc. according to conditions of the vehicle and user's demands. SOLUTION: The display apparatus 1 for the vehicle is provided with a display device 15 for displaying an image, and a pallet data storage means 12 for storing a plurality of color data 123 to be used in the image on the display device 15. The pallet data storage means 12 is composed of a plurality of pallet table blocks 121, 122 corresponding to a plurality of image groups divided by contents of the display of the images. A pallet data changing means 13 is provided which changes the color data 123 used on the display of the image groups, within the pallet table blocks 121, 122 of the image groups.
