PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device whereby a rolling screw part is prevented from being scooped out at the time of steering or shocking road surface input, and enhanced durability is exhibited. SOLUTION: This electric power steering device is provided with a rack having a rolling screw track on a part of an outer peripheral surface thereof, a nut fitted onto the rack through a plurality of rolling bodies and rotatably supported by a rack shaft, and a plurality of the rolling bodies intervening between the rack and the nut so as to freely roll. Rack auxiliary thrust can be achieved by rotation of the nut. A thrust self-aligning core roller bearing is used for a bearing supporting the nut around the rack shaft rotatably and swingably along the axial perpendicular direction. A mounting position of the thrust self-aligning regulation roller is outside of the rack shaft directional length of an effective track part wherein the rolling element is included in the rolling screw track.
