PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular electric mirror device with a simple structure capable of quickly returning to a preset recovery target position. SOLUTION: This vehicular electric mirror device determines which of a switching position Xc, Yd of a driving motor or a switching position Xd, Yc is away from the center Xo, Yo of a movable area C upon returning a mirror from a current position Xc, Yc to a recovery target position Xd, Yd, and drives a motor for turning the mirror around a vertical axis at first when the switching position Xc, Yd is away. Accordingly, the drive amount of the motor will not be out of the movable area C. Moreover, since the value to be detected for returning the mirror from the current position Xc, Yc to the recovery target position Xd, Yd is only the current position Xc, Yc, the calculation can be quickly performed and the structure of the device can be simplified.
