<p>There is provided a parts management device for a parts mounting device which introduces a parts containing tape (22) containing a plenty of parts to a parts taking-out position and takes out a part from the parts containing tape (22) at this parts taking-out position, so as to be mounted. The parts management device includes: remaining number calculating means (35) for calculating the remaining number of parts contained in the parts containing tape; and control means (34) for setting a judgment reference value corresponding to the number of remaining parts when the remaining length of the parts containing tape (22A) currently used has reached a value appropriate for connecting a new parts supply tape (22B) and stopping operation of the parts mounting device so as to enter the connection-wait state when the number of remaining parts calculated by the remaining number calculating means (35) is confirmed to have become the aforementioned judgment reference value or below.</p> |
