<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator operation control device capable of making modernization of an elevator simply and quickly. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator operation control device is to elevate and lower an elevator car using a winch based on the signals given by a car position sensing device mounted on the car and is equipped with a deceleration point sensing means to emit a deceleration command to the operation control device a certain time after the deceleration point sensing signal is received from the car position sensing device.
