PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly cut off a noise from outside when a sliding door is closed by bringing the sliding door into close contact with an airtight material by a pressing device, an attracting device or the like in a large sliding door device arranged in the doorway of a large theater, a large hall or the like. SOLUTION: A sliding door 1 is suspended and supported through a suspending carriage 5 by a rail 4 arranged in an upper frame of an opening part, and is opend and closed by an electric motor. The sliding door 1 is suspended and supported by the suspending carriage 5 so as to be movable in the thickness direction of the sliding door 1 by a linear guide inclined so as to return by dead weight, and a pressing device (a power cylinder 17) and an attracting device 18 press the sliding door 1 to an airtight material arranged in a vertical frame and the upper frame of the opening part in a closing position of the sliding door 1. A lower sealing device vertically movable by a link mechanism is arranged on the lower edge of the sliding door 1, and the airtight material is pressed to a floor surface. These actuations are all automatically performed by operation of an operation switch by a proper sensor and a control system. Therefore, when the sliding door 1 is closed, the airtight material is brought into close contact with the periphery of the sliding door 1, and an external noise can be properly cut off. |
