PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet folding mold for preforming which can keep a folding angle at about 80-100°even after a long time from preforming and a method for preforming an insert sheet using the mold. SOLUTION: The sheet folding mold for preforming is a metal press mold having a lower mold in which a housing part comprising a linear channel including a curved part etc., is set on the upper surface, an upper mold fitted with a folding blade in which a blade edge angle is 40-60°, and the tip exhibits R and which can be engaged with the housing part through the insert sheet, and a driving member which brings down the upper mold and pushes the insert sheet into the housing part by the folding blade and is provided with a heater for heating the housing part etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
