DEVICE AND METHOD FOR EXTRACTING RELATED WORD, PROGRAM AND STORAGE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a related word extracting device and method, a program and a storage medium by which words related with a predetermined theme can be extracted under the consideration of the reliability of a user on which the user's detailed knowledge and the strength of his or her interest in the predetermined theme is reflected at the time of extracting words related with the predetermined theme. SOLUTION: This related word extracting device is provided with: a word group registering means for retrieving a word group representing a predetermined theme being an object to be retrieved in a retrieving device in which the history of retrieved words is recorded; a reliability calculating means for calculating the totaled value of the frequency of the predetermined user's retrieval of the word group representing the predetermined theme as the predetermined user' reliability in the predetermined theme; and a related term extracting means for extracting words retrieved by the user whose reliability is high as related words associated with the theme.
