PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point information database system capable of providing, based on image data, various pieces of information related to the shooting place of the image. SOLUTION: Information for shooting point including at least the name of a shooting point is recorded in the recording part 15 of an imaging device 10, and the image data are transferred to a server device 50 with this information. The server device 50 receives the image data and the information for shooting point, classifies the information according to the point name by a point name hierarchization part 61 followed by recording in the recording part 15.
