METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY AND REMOTELY DOWNLOADING SOFTWARE, AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE FOR REALIZING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically download software by bringing efficiency to a transmission channel to permit the downloading of the software to a primary storage memory regardless of communication, and by confirming non-communicating status concerning the downloading of the software from the primary storage memory to a RAM, in remote software downloading. SOLUTION: A communication device 1 connected to a call agent 7 and an OpS (operation system) 9 through an IP communication network 5 has an IP protocol monitor 2 which recognizes a communication/non-communication status, an operational system primary storage memory 3 which primarily stores software necessary for providing service in operation, a non-operational system primary storage memory 4 which downloads software download packets during communication and downloads the packets into the operational system primary storage means 3, and the RAM 101 which receives downloading from the non-operational system primary storage memory 4 or receives downloading from the operational system primary storage memory 3 for returning to a file of old version.
