PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device which makes it easy to cut charging wire in uniform length without a tool when stretching the charge wire in a case and which lessens a leak of grid after the wire was stretched. SOLUTION: The charging device 10 includes at least: the case 1 whose sides are nearly U-shaped; the charge wire 4 stretched in the space of the case 1 so as to be parallel to the length of the case 1; and a drop prevention pin 3 which is firmly pressed together with the charge wire 4 into a fitting hole 5 made in the hold member 2 of the case 1, in order to fix a portion near one end of the charge wire 4. An inclined face 18 is formed on the inside of the projection 15 of the drop prevention pin 3. Thereby, an acute angle edge 17 for cutting the charge wire 4 is formed at the lower end of the projection. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
