LIGHT GUIDE STRUCTURE FOR STATUS INDICATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a status indicator having both of visibility and a water proofing property. SOLUTION: In this light guide structure for a status indicator, a V-shaped groove 10f whose light-emitting plane 10a side becomes an aperture is formed at the center position of the greater diameter direction of an elliptic display part 10b having the light-emitting plane 10a of light of the status indicator 10 over the full length of the smaller diameter direction and inclined plane of the V-shaped groove 10f is made to become reflecting planes 10g and 10h which reflect light from a light emitting body 14 and emit light to the vertical direction of the outside of a housing 12 from upper and lower ends of the light-emitting plane 10a and also an flange part 10c which is arranged inside of the housing 12 and which has a circular-arcuate profile which does not have sharp edge parts is attached to the case receiving surface 12b having high smoothness of the housing 12 by ultrasonic welding or a double coated adhesive tape so that it has a waterproofing structure.
