PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an omnidirectional photographing device by which a rectangular image where a photographed subject is arranged in a lateral direction is obtained in real time, and further which is small-sized and whose power consumption is made low. SOLUTION: The photographing device is equipped with a convex mirror having a reflection surface in rotationally symmetric shape and a camera having an imaging device 4. The convex mirror and the camera are relatively arranged so that light made incident on the reflection surface from a field range on the periphery of the camera can be guided to the imaging device 4 after reflection. Respective pixels 4a in the imaging device 4 are arrayed in the peripheral direction and the radial direction of a circle centering a position corresponding to the central position in the visual field range.
