PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power-generating system, capable of utilizing presently existing bio-fuels and using a biomass having a carbon neutral property as an energy source. SOLUTION: This biomass electric power-generating system is to generate electricity by burning tar obtained by dry-distilling the biomass raw material in a combustion device 3 of a gas turbine 2 for rotating turbine 6. Since gas and liquefied material (tar, etc.) are obtained by cooling and liquefying smoke generated by dry-distilling the biomass raw material, the biomass electric power-generation system is constituted for using the tar as a main fuel and generating electric power by burning it at the combustion device of a micro gas turbine so as to use the tar derived from the biomass raw material instead of fossil fuels having problems of exhaustion and global warming.
