PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground tank work execution method for easily performing execution work of a side wall body structure by properly holding an attitude of an inside wall part of the side wall body structure. SOLUTION: Only an outside wall part 21 is arranged on an upper surface of a ground surface R as indicated in Fig.(a). The inside of the ground surface R is excavated, and sediment is discharged outside the outside wall part 21, and the outside wall part 21 is buried in a housing hole Rh as indicated in Fig.(b). Next, base concrete 50 is formed in a bottom part of the housing hole Rh, and the inside wall part 22 is installed on an upper surface of this base concrete 50. A column 14 is erected on an upper surface of a plate 51 as indicated in Fig.(c), and a wide-flange shape steel 52 is horizontally arranged. The side wall body structure 12 is constructed by forming an intermediate wall part by pouring ready-mixed concrete into a space G formed of an inner peripheral surface of the outside wall part 21 and an outer peripheral surface of the inside wall part 22.
