New technetium-labeled fatty acids based on nitrilo-tris-(alkanethiolato) complexes, useful as stable radioactive tracers for diagnostic imaging of the myocardium

New technetium-labeled fatty acids (I) comprise (9>9>Tc or 9>9>mTc)-(nitrilo-tris-(alkanethiolato)) (omega -carboxy-polymethylene-isocyanido or phosphino)-technetium (III) complexes. Technetium-labeled fatty acids of formula (I) are new. [Image] R : H, R1 or CHR1; R1optionally substituted ester or optionally substituted amide residue; p : 2 or 3; M : technetium-99 or technetium-99m; X : isocyano (NC->) or PR2R3; Y : O, N(R4), S, CHR5, optionally aryl or CH=C(R6); R2 - R6optionally substituted alkyl or optionally substituted aryl; m, n : numbers of methylene groups, such that m + n = 7-20. (N.B. All exemplified compounds have m = n = 2, i.e. m + n = 4). An independent claim is included for the preparation of (I).
