<p>Preparation of Ziegler-Natta type catalyst systems includes bringing an inorganic metal oxide into contact with a tetravalent titanium compound; bringing the obtained intermediate into contact with a magnesium compound; bringing the obtained intermediate into contact with a halogenating reagent; and then, bringing the obtained intermediate into contact with a donor compound. Preparation of Ziegler-Natta type catalyst systems includes bringing an inorganic metal oxide into contact with a tetravalent titanium compound; bringing the obtained intermediate into contact with a magnesium compound MgR 1> nX 1> 2 - n; bringing the obtained intermediate into contact with a halogenating reagent; and then, bringing the obtained intermediate into contact with a donor compound. X 1>F, Cl, Br, I, H, N(R-X) 2, O(R-X), SO 3(R-X) or OC(O)R-X; R 1>, R-X : 1-20C alkyl, 2-10C alkenyl, alkylaryl having 1-10C in the alkyl part and 6-20C in the aryl part or 6-18C aryl;and n : 1 or 2. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a prepolymerized catalyst system, comprising a catalyst system as prepared by the above process; and linear 2-10C-1-alkenes polymerized onto the catalyst system in a mass ratio of 1:0.1-1:200; and (2) a process for the polymerization or copolymerization of olefins at 20-150[deg]C and pressures of 1-100 bar in the presence of catalyst system(s) as above and, if appropriate, an aluminum compound as co-catalyst.</p> |
