PURPOSE: To provide a strip side oiling apparatus for preventing pollution of surrounding environment, preventing occurrence of safety accident and preventing production of non-ordered products when reoperating waiting coil in an oiling process of coating rust preventive oil on the side of strip to prevent generation of rust. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a frame part comprising a pair of frames (101) to an end part of which shifting bars (202) are suspended in such a manner that the shifting bars respectively support rubber roll parts (300) spaced apart from each other to apply rust preventive oil to both sides of strip proceeded toward mandrel, and a crossing frame (201) connected to an upper part of the end part of the frames; a rotation operating part comprising supporting blocks (102,102-1) rotationally supporting a rotary shaft (101-1) connected a platform part of the frames, and a rotary motor (105) for rotating the rotary shaft to rotationally operate the frames; and a distance adjusting part comprising a screw (207) installed at a lower part of the crossing frame to connect the shifting bars to the crossing frame, and a driving motor (203) for driving the screw to adjust a distance between the shifting bars.
