PURPOSE: A water-through breakwater building method using a deformed tetra pod and a water-through breakwater are provided to secure wave-defense and wave-overtopping prevention effects and a water-through function at the same time by forming a frame by weaving the deformed pod having rings with projections or a body with a rope and filling aggregate in the frame. CONSTITUTION: A water-through breakwater building method using a deformed tetra pod is composed of steps for forming one layer of an outline frame(11) by hanging a rope on a ring and weaving pods to each other; filling aggregate(13) in the frame; forming another layer of the outer frame by combining the deformed pod comprising a corresponding layer by the rope and joining the pods comprising upper and lower frames to each other, and filing the aggregate in the frame; and building breakwater blocks(10a,10b,10c).
