<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system capable of directly charging an enterprise etc., for the use of OA equipment outside the company by employees etc., of the enterprises. <P>SOLUTION: The OA equipment 2 generates use detail information including charges for use by users. The generated use detail information is transmitted to a management device 6 outside the company. The management device 6 outside the company receives the use detail information sent from the OA equipment 2 and generates and stores use state information in a use management DB 62. Further, charging information is generated and stored in a charging management DB 63. The management device 6 outside the company generates charging information, for example, at the end of the month by totalizing use charges by users. The generated charging information is sent to a management terminal 4.
