<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus for a portable electronic device appropriate for picturing a moving image and capable of irradiating high luminance light for a long period of time with small power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting apparatus 14 is structured of a light guide plate 15 in an approximately tabular form made of a transparent resin material, two light sources 16 mounted to contact with the incident surface 15a (the end of the short edge side of the light guide plate 15) of the light guide plate 15, a diffusion control panel 17 provided on the front face of an uneven surface 15b of the light guide plate 15 and a reflection layer 18 formed to contact with a surface opposite to the uneven surface 15b of the light guide panel 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
