<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a more accurate beam hardening (BH) correction factor. <P>SOLUTION: In this X-ray CT apparatus, a phantom of which the cross section is oval, or a phantom 330 of which the cross section is a ring shape (fan shape) having an even thickness is positioned, and a plurality of views are imaged from many directions.
