PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture data transmission system for transmitting picture data photographed without attaching/detaching a card to/from a digital camera to a remote place. SOLUTION: The system is provided with an interface card device 2 in which picture data transmitted from a first outer part are written into a storage medium, picture data are read from the storage medium and are transmitted to a second outer part, the digital camera 1 to which the interface card device 2 is attachably/detachably stored, a controller 4 reading picture data from the interface card device 2 and transmitting it, and a portable telephone set 6 receiving picture data which are read from the interface card device 2 by the controller 4 and transmitting it to a prescribed terminal through a radio line.
