PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow guard fence facilitating the fitting work of a snow prevention net to supports. SOLUTION: A snow protection net 7 that rigid side edge members 6 are fitted to the both side edges of a net material 5 is set between the upper beam put over adjacent supports 2 and a lower snow protection plate. A bracket 11 is fixed in the side edge member 6 in the direction orthogonally crossing with the fence face. A fitting bolt 13 is fixed to the support 2 so as to protrude to the central side of the fence span. The fitting bolt 13 is inserted in the bracket 11, the bracket 11 is pinched and fixedly fastened by a positioning nut 17 and a fastening nut 18 to stretch the snow protection net 7 between supports 2. In this way, great weight saving can be realized, cost is saved. As the snow protection net 7 can be spread by only fitting the brackets 11 to the fitting bolt 13 respectively at about four points or so for instance of the right and left supports 2, the mounting work of the snow protection net to the support is facilitated.
