PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent close contact of a PC steel material cable by forming a pipe cross section in an elliptic shape, twistingly molding a pipe, and making a gentle recess-projection part inside the pipe, when extrusively molding the protecting pipe for protecting the PC steel material cable. SOLUTION: This protecting pipe for the PC steel material cable is used for protecting the PC steel material cable, and is twistingly molded by forming the pipe cross section of the protecting pipe in an elliptic shape in a manufacturing process of the protecting pipe by extrusion molding of a thermoplastic synthetic resin.
