PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a resin molded product, capable of easily applying a blurred pattern to a profile and capable of reducing cost through the simplification or the like of molding work. SOLUTION: A fixture 12 equipped with a punched region 12A is arranged to the inner surface of a mold 10 so as to leave a gap. A transparent or translucent gel coat for forming a pattern is applied to the punched region 12A by spray coating and cured. A resin compound having a color different from that of the pattern forming gel coat is laminated on the region containing this pattern and cured. The gel coat applied by spray coating sneaks into the gap S between the fixture and the mold 10 as mist and is dispersed so as to be gradually lowered in density to express a blurred part around the pattern when cured.
