PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural implement having good durability by improving the durability of a lateral face-former because the durability of the lateral face-former which is a rotor is not regarded as good due to the readily abraded end on the diameter enlarged side of each lateral face-forming plate of the lateral face-former forming the levee lateral face by, e.g. rotating in a conventional agricultural implement. SOLUTION: The agricultural implement is provided with a mounding body for tilling soil and mounding the soil and the lateral face-former 15 which is the nearly conical rotor compacting the soil mounded with the mounding body and forming the levee lateral face. The lateral face-former 15 is provided with the plurality of lateral face-forming plates 21 located radially from the rotation center axis X as the center. Each protective cover 23 of a protective means 40 for covering the end 22 on the diameter enlarged side and protecting the end 22 is demountably mounted at the end 22 on the diameter enlarged side of each lateral face-forming plate 21.
