<p>The invention relates to a cable, especially an inclined cable, comprising an arrangement of traction reinforcements, two devices for anchoring the reinforcements in two different parts of the construction, the reinforcements being mutually interspaced in the region of the anchoring devices, means for deviating the reinforcements in order to converge the same in the direction of the main part of the cable into an essentially parallel bundle that is more compact than the arrangement of reinforcements near the anchoring devices, and a guiding body which closely surrounds the arrangement of reinforcements. Said guiding body has an internal surface with a cross-section adapted to the peripheral form of the parallel bundle and a longitudinal section forming a convex curve which allows angular deflections of the reinforcements, over the length of the guiding body, which are essentially larger than the maximum convergence angle of the reinforcements between the anchoring device and the main part of the cable.</p> |
