<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for restricting recording of image data on a recording paper and for storing the image data when the number of sheets of the recording paper, on which recording is carried out, exceeds a set number of sheets for a specified period. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises a recording means recording the image data to the recording paper, an integrating means integrating the used number of sheets of the recording paper by counting, a means to register the counting period and the recording permitted number of sheets, and an output means outputting the image data to a portable image display medium instead of the recording means when the integrated number of sheets of the used recording paper in the registered counting period exceeds the registered recording permitted number of sheets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
