<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument that automatically set as an end point a musically proper section position in addition to an end address (sound recording stop address) of waveform data when the waveform data are sound-recorded or edited. <P>SOLUTION: When the waveform data are sound-recorded or edited, since this electronic musical instrument automatically sets as the end point the musically proper punctuation position based upon previously set specific parameters in addition to the end address (sound recording stop address) of the waveform data, when the sound-recorded waveform data are used as raw material data for musical performance, music composition, etc., reading of the waveform data is ended at the punctuation point, so that the sound-recorded waveform data can be used without any operator's intervention. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
