<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a tissue fragment sampled and taken out of a body by using an endoscope from a tubular organ that is extending with a length while accurately associating the tissue fragment with the sampled position in the body of the body. <P>SOLUTION: In a tissue fragment storing apparatus 10 for storing tissue fragments, taken to the outside of the body by sampling from the large intestine using the endoscope, via a container, a display surface 12 for displaying a large intestine figure 20 for representing the large intestine in a plan view, and a plurality of recesses 22 for storing containers for storing tissue fragments sampled from the large intestine are provided. Further, the plurality of recesses 22 are arranged along the large intestine figure 20. As a result, the containers for storing the tissue fragments sampled from the large intestine are geometrically related to the sampling position of each tissue fragment and are stored in the recesses, thus achieving a position specifying function in the longitudinal direction for specifying the sampling position of each tissue fragment regarding a position in the longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
