<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to select a power-saving mode and a time setting in an appliance with standby power mode. <P>SOLUTION: In a structure having a function for lowering standby power, when a time is not set by a time setting means 20 and a key input means 6 for setting cooking menu and others is not operated for a specified time, signals for turning off a power open/close means 5 are outputted. By this, the user can freely select the power-saving mode and the time setting mode.
