MEDICAL CONNECTOR SET AND CATHETER SET FOR DWELLING USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize possibilities of a reduction in closing performance of a plug at a connection port and intrusion of chips of the plug or the like into a living body.

SOLUTION: A connector set has a female lure and a male lure to be separably connected to the female lure from behind. The female lure has a housing with the connection port for transferring a liquid formed at the rear part thereof and the plug composed of an elastic material and closing the connection port is inserted into the connection port. The male lure has A. a connection needle 51 for transferring the liquid which is disposed almost longitudinally, made hollow with both front and rear ends thereof opened and detachably inserted into the plug from behind at the connection of the male and female lures and B. a hub which is located at the rear part of the connection needle 51 and separably connected to the housing from behind at the connection of the male and female lures. The opening rim 56 at the front end of the connection needle 51 is made orthogonal to the axial center 57 of the connection needle 51 and at least the outer peripheral rim side of the opening rim 56 is made as a curved surface 60 projecting outward.
