<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder capable of preventing a plurality of paper sheets in a paper feed cassette from being detached upward of a separation claw by shocks generated when the paper feed cassette is fitted to a copier, and solving a problem that a plurality of paper sheets are fed at one time in a paper sheet feed-out step. <P>SOLUTION: The paper feeder 5 comprises a front-access type paper sheet supplementation mechanism 51 which is pulled out to press and fit a paper feed cassette 33 storing paper sheets P into a copier, a pickup roller 52 to feed out the paper sheets one by one from the paper feed cassette. The pickup roller has a crescent roller 53 to feed out the highest paper sheet from the paper feed cassette by the rotation, and ribs 55 and 55 which are protruded from both end parts in the direction of a rotary shaft 54 of the crescent roller into a missing part, and regulate raising of the paper sheet by bringing a tip part 55a into contact with the paper sheet stored in the paper feed cassette. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
