PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring camera apparatus whereby even one installation worker can simply carry out fine-adjustment of the horizontality of a camera field angle or the like. SOLUTION: An LED 20 is provided to a front side of an enclosure of a camera main body 1, usually illuminates at application of power in a power supply section 21, and also is used for a field angle horizontality adjustment notice means. An operation section 18 is provided with e.g., an installation mode button, and when the button is operated, a microcomputer 14 informs an LED lighting control circuit 19 about the execution of an installation field angle adjustment mode. The LED lighting control circuit 19 receiving the execution notice of this mode from the microcomputer 14 applies lighting control to the LED 20 for horizontality notice by receiving a signal from a horizontality detection section 17 without applying lighting control to the LED 20 for indicating application of power to the power supply section 21.
