PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device and a locking device controlling method capable of being safely unlocked without making any troublesome treatment such as inputting ID, preparing a master key or memorizing a pass-word or the like. SOLUTION: At least information on one unlocking time is stored in a memory 521, and an unlocking control section 523 is automatically unlocked when an unlocking time stored in the memory 521 comes by referring to the present time of a timepiece section 524.
