PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the positioning cycle time in PTP (point-to-point) control. SOLUTION: In order to control a servo motor fitted to each shaft of a manipulator, a passing point and a target position of the manipulator are transmitted to a servo amplifier for controlling the operation of each servo motor, the operation of a first servo motor is controlled on the basis of the passing point and the target position, and the drive of a second servo motor is started when it is detected that the shaft driven by one servo motor reaches the passing point.
