PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flower thinning agent which is harmless to trees and humans and has a suitable flower thinning effect. SOLUTION: The flower thinning agent comprises an organic peracid such as peracetic acid or perpropionic acid as an active ingredient.
