PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-roll device of left-right separated type capable of enhancing the comfortableness and the safety in steering by connecting together a left and a right anti-roll bar only when the vehicle body is rolling on which the anti-roll levers are fitted separately to the left and right. SOLUTION: The anti-roll device is composed of the left-hand anti-roll bar with one end coupled with a left suspension arm, the right-hand anti-roll bar with one end coupled with a right suspension arm, a clutch to couple together the two anti-roll bars and separate them from each other, an oil pressure producing device, an accumulator, an actuator, a solenoid valve, a sensor to sense the rise and fall of the axle with respect to the vehicle body, and a controller to control the solenoid valve upon receiving the signal from the sensor.
