PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide door glass for an automobile for rapidly erasing color in a dimming material even if one enters a dark place suddenly in operation, preventing risk in operation, and facilitating the operation of the automobile by using the dimming material, where the variation width of total transmittance gradually increases from the upper portion to the lower portion according to the quantity of ultraviolet rays irradiating a part located nearly above the driver's eyes. SOLUTION: In the door glass 3 for automobiles that is composed of the dimming material 3a for automatically dimming a section located nearly above driver's eyes according to the quantity of ultraviolet rays to be applied, while the part located under the driver's eyes is formed by a transparent material 3b, the change width of the total transmittance of the dimming material 3a is gradually increased from the upper portion to the lower portion of the door glass 3.
