This invention falls into the field of ceramic manufactures, in particular tiles and trim pieces made of porcelain stoneware. Titanium dioxide is applied to the glaze and to the layer covering the tiles so that a photocatalytic oxidisation action can be produced acting against the polluting and bacterial agents present in the atmosphere.
