PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a short message in various fonts is provided to use various fonts in creating a short message and display the short message in the same font as the created short message by transmitting the short message in graphic even if a terminal of the other person is unable to recognize various fonts. CONSTITUTION: A user selects a short message creation menu(S1). The user selects a user designated mode to use a font larger or smaller than a general font(S2). A plurality of fonts are displayed so that the user selects any one font(S3). If selecting a desired font, the user inputs a predetermined short message in the selected font(S4). In case that the user selects a general mode, the short message is inputted in a general single font(S5,S6). If the short message is transmitted in graphic, the short message is displayed on a terminal of the other person in the same the font as the short message created in a terminal of the user(S7,S9). If the short message is transmitted in text, the short message is displayed in the existing method(S8,S9).
