DEVICE FOR TREATING AIR USING IMMOBILIZED PHOTOCATALYTIC FIBER FILTER

PURPOSE: Provided is a device for treating air using an immobilized photocatalytic fiber filter which is able to completely remove persistent contaminants and harmful microorganism virus. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises reactors (11,12), fiber bundle type photocatalytic bundles (3a) installed on the inside of the reactors vertically to the air flow direction, an ultraviolet rays lamp (2) installed on the inside of the reactors to radiate ultraviolet rays to a fiber bundle type photocatalytic filter (3b) and an atmosphere discharge device (5) generating forcible atmospheric flow. The reactors form an atmosphere inflow dust removing filter and an atmosphere discharge device (5) and the fiber bundle type photocatalytic filter is mounted on the inner wall side thereof around the ultraviolet rays lamp. Clips (6a,6b) are installed on both sides of the reactors to be able to replace and mount the atmosphere inflow dust removing filter, the ultraviolet rays lamp and the fiber bundle type photocatalytic filter. The fiber bundle type photocatalytic bundles generate a tremor by the speed of the inflown atmospheric flow so that light contact area of each photocatalytic fiber type bundles becomes uniform. The atmospheric treatment flow speed is controlled by changing the atmospheric flow speed of the atmosphere discharge device according to the air contamination.
